When it comes to sustainability, we know that words aren't enough: proof matters. That’s why at LUMEN, we’re fully committed to transparency you can see and trust. From recycled materials to ethical sourcing, every product in our loyalty campaigns is carefully developed with the planet in mind. To back up those choices, we rely on globally recognized labels that don’t just sound good—they’re verified, traceable, and meaningful.


These certifications are more than just stamps on packaging. They tell a story of responsible production, ethical sourcing, and continuous improvement. Here’s what they mean, and how we make sure we live up to them every step of the way.



Proud to B Corp

In July 2024, LUMEN became a Certified B Corporation, a milestone that reflects our commitment to balancing purpose and profit. B Corp certification is awarded to companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

We’ve proven our dedication across five key impact areas:

  • Governance: Ethical, responsible decision-making at every level.

  • Workers: A safe, inclusive, and empowering workplace.

  • Community: Positive contributions to society through our campaigns.

  • Environment: Reducing our ecological footprint in measurable ways.

  • Customers: Designing programs that are both impactful and trustworthy and help take responsibility that comes with being a brand with a day to day presence in the lives of its users.


Being a B Corp isn't just a label—it’s a commitment to continuous improvement. It holds us accountable to the values we promote through our loyalty programs.



Our Sustainability Labels

Our goal is to make it easy for our partners and customers to recognize the sustainable choices we make. That’s why we incorporate globally recognized sustainability labels in our campaigns and product lines. Here’s what they mean:

  • FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) This certification ensures that any paper or wood we use comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.

  • rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) Many of our plush toys and packaging elements are made from rPET, which repurposes post-consumer plastic waste like bottles into high-quality, safe materials.

  • GRS (Global Recycled Standard)This standard verifies the recycled content of our materials and tracks it through the supply chain. It also ensures responsible environmental and social practices in production.


We don’t just display these labels—we actively monitor our supply chain to ensure the certifications are upheld. Regular audits, supplier vetting, and close collaboration with production partners help us maintain integrity and push for higher standards across the board. By choosing LUMEN, our partners know exactly what they’re delivering: campaigns that are not only fun and engaging but also honest, verified, and responsible.


Driving Continuous Improvement

At LUMEN, sustainability is not a fixed goal—it’s a journey of continuous growth and improvement. Our people are at the heart of that journey. Take Liam Goede, our Junior Sales Manager. More than just a client liaison, Liam is involved in researching sustainability standards, including the principles behind B Corp certification. His work helps identify new ways we can improve: from sourcing more eco-friendly materials to enhancing transparency in our supply chain. By staying informed and proactive, he ensures that sustainability is not just a department, it’s embedded in our culture and operations.

This mindset of continuous learning and innovation drives our team forward. Every campaign, every product, and every partnership is an opportunity to do better. For our clients, for the communities we serve, and for the planet.



Loyalty with purpose is also about edutainment. We are committed to making loyalty campaigns that are not only fun but create awareness with a younger audience.
